How can I access the fuel tank on the Ford Taurus?

To open the gas tank on a Ford Taurus, go to the rear of the driver's side of the car and press on the upper right part of the fuel door. This will unlock the latch and allow you to fully open the door. The Taurus comes with the Easy Fuel capless fuel filler system, making refueling quicker and keeping your hands cleaner. When filling up, make sure to insert the pump nozzle all the way in to open the two flaps inside for proper fueling. After the tank is full, wait for five seconds to let any remaining gas drip off the nozzle. If you need to use a gas can, ensure you use the provided easy fuel funnel located in the trunk.
