If the battery dies in your Chrysler 300, you can still access it from inside the cabin to open the trunk. Begin by unlocking the vehicle door with the physical key, then folding down the rear seats using the handles located on top of them. With the rear seats down, you can enter the trunk area and pull the emergency release handle to open the trunk. Alternatively, the quickest way to access the trunk is to charge or jump start the battery, then use the buttons on the key fob or dashboard to open it.

To open the Chrysler 300's trunk from a distance, simply hold down the "Trunk" button for a couple of seconds. This will unlock and slightly open the trunk lid. If the battery is dead, you can use the trunk-release button on the left side of the dashboard next to the steering wheel.

For sure, you cannot open the trunk if the battery is dead. Following Alex's advice, I managed to get into the trunk through the rear seats only. Appreciate the assistance! :)

The only way for me to access my trunk was by entering through the rear seat.

Pop open the hood on the passenger side near the wheel well. There is a red terminal and a black terminal slightly behind it and closer to the engine. You can use these remote terminals to jump-start the car.
