If the battery dies in your Chrysler 300, you can still access it from inside the cabin to open the trunk. Begin by unlocking the vehicle door with the physical key, then folding down the rear seats using the handles located on top of them. With the rear seats down, you can enter the trunk area and pull the emergency release handle to open the trunk. Alternatively, the quickest way to access the trunk is to charge or jump start the battery, then use the buttons on the key fob or dashboard to open it.

To open the Chrysler 300's trunk from a distance, simply hold down the "Trunk" button for a couple of seconds. This will unlock and slightly open the trunk lid. If the battery is dead, you can use the trunk-release button on the left side of the dashboard next to the steering wheel.

For sure, you cannot open the trunk if the battery is dead. Following Alex's advice, I managed to get into the trunk through the rear seats only. Appreciate the assistance! :)

The trunk cannot be opened using the button on the dashboard if the battery is dead. To address this, as mentioned by Alex S., you will need to access the trunk by going through the back seat and engaging the emergency release mechanism.

How can I access the trunk if there's no emergency release and my battery is dead?

The battery is in the trunk and it's locked, you moron! How do you expect to charge it if you can't even get to it?????

If the remote control's battery is dead, it will not be able to operate. The key and remote are connected, so if the key doesn't unlock the door, you'll need to open the door manually. After opening the door, the vehicle can be jump-started from the engine compartment.

The emergency release is located on the interior right next to the latch, right in the center of the back wall.

I recently assisted a young woman with a drained battery. I opened the car hood and connected the jumper cables from the positive terminal to the negative terminal. This means you can jump-start a car without directly reaching the battery.

You have the option to employ a Jump Pack or connect jumper cables from a car that is already running to the jump posts located beneath the hood on the passenger side. This method will activate the remote button on either the dashboard or the trunk, eliminating the need to squeeze into the trunk through the back seats.

I don't have a solution yet, but here's another question! What should I do if I can't access the rear seats? The back doors won't open, not even from inside, and I can't fold down the front seats to reach the back!

The only way for me to access my trunk was by entering through the rear seat.

Pop open the hood on the passenger side near the wheel well. There is a red terminal and a black terminal slightly behind it and closer to the engine. You can use these remote terminals to jump-start the car.

Opening the trunk and putting stuff inside was a breeze. Lesson learned for next time! 😂

Thank you! The strategy of accessing the rear seats proved successful for me.
