To access the trunk of the 2020 Honda CR-V, you have a couple of convenient options. You can unlock the trunk by pressing the designated button on your keyfob, or if your hands are full, you can simply walk behind the vehicle and use your foot to open it. To do this, approach the rear of the car and kick upward underneath the bumper – remember to kick up and then down, avoiding any side-to-side movements. If your Honda CR-V has a hitch attached, kick in an up-and-down motion about 8 inches to the right of the hitch. For optimal results, make the kicking motion from a distance of about two feet, whether your vehicle has a hitch or not.
In today's hands-free world, we often can't step out of the car to open the trunk. Therefore, we have to remain in the vehicle and pop the trunk ourselves since workers won't open it for us, and we can't exit. It seems like Paul overlooked this detail. Lately, I've noticed this question coming up frequently.
To access the trunk of a Honda CRV, you simply press the trunk release button located on the driver's side. There are four different ways to open the trunk: you can use the remote to press the trunk release button when in range with keyless access and with the doors closed, or you can manually push the trunk lid. It's important to remember to push the trunk lid back down to securely lock the door.
Step outside and press the handle to open the trunk.
