Operating the remote start feature on the Honda CR-V is very straightforward. To start and unlock the vehicle, you simply need to press the lock button, then hold down the engine button to start the engine. This default setting activates the engine for up to 10 minutes. If you want to keep the engine running, just repeat the same steps. Note that when the engine is on, various systems like climate control, temperature settings, and security features will also activate. To remotely turn off the car, hold down the engine button whenever you want to shut it off. Additionally, the vehicle will automatically turn off if there hasn't been any activity for 10 minutes.
