To change the height of the tailgate on the 2019 Honda Pilot, start by opening it manually using the button below the Honda emblem. Hold down the button until you hear beeps, confirming it's in manual mode. Then you can adjust the tailgate's height as needed when there is limited space above. You can also control this using the inner power tailgate button by pressing it during operation. Pressing the button once will stop the tailgate, and pressing it again will reverse its direction.
