Ford's exclusive door code system is a convenient feature to have, but can become a hassle if you lock yourself out by forgetting the code. Resetting the code is a fairly straightforward process, as long as you follow the correct steps. To start, you'll have to find the original security code, which is a unique five-digit number specific to your vehicle, typically located in the owner's manual or on the owner's wallet card. Press the 1/2 button on the door and input each number of your new chosen code within 5 seconds of each other. Then, save your settings by pressing the 1/2 button for the primary driver or the 3/4 button for the secondary driver. The doors will confirm a successful code entry by locking and unlocking.

I have tried that, but it doesn't delete any of the codes I've inputted in my truck. I'm attempting to prevent my overly curious wife from gaining access, but I'm struggling to find a solution.
