If the radio in your Hyundai IX35 isn't working, the first step is to reset it. To do this, press the volume knob on the dashboard and wait for the screen to turn off and then back on. If resetting doesn't fix the issue or if the screen is completely unresponsive, check the fuses. The radio fuse is typically found in the driver's side cabin under an access panel in the footwell. If the fuse is blown, replace it. If the fuse keeps blowing, there may be a wiring issue causing a short circuit in the radio.

To reboot the Hyundai IX35, simply press and hold the power button until the display resets.

Pressing and holding the volume button does not have any effect.

I encountered a similar issue with my car stereo not producing any sound. When I brought it to Hyundai, they informed me that all ix35 models come with low-quality stereos and were unwilling to rectify the problem. They suggested that I replace the entire stereo system at my own cost. This experience has left me extremely disillusioned with Hyundai, and I will not be purchasing a car from them again. I will also advise against buying from them to others, as they are keen to take your money but offer no support when issues arise.

I've been pressing the power button non-stop for 8 hours straight. Do you think it's finally time to release it?

I took my ix35 in for servicing and inquired about the lack of sound from the radio. The response was a request for $165.00 for a diagnostic report. Such lack of professionalism.

In December 2014, my ix35 had a terrible radio signal. I tried holding in the radio on button for over a minute, but the screen didn't turn on, so I thought it was a waste of time. However, when I eventually switched the radio on, the signal was crystal clear on all channels. I plan to keep using this method for now, but if it stops working, I'll check the fuse. If that doesn't fix it, I'll just stick to using Spotify through the media button. And if that fails, I'll resort to using a speaker. If all else fails, I might as well take singing lessons and add a warning sign on my car to keep others at a distance.

I purchased my 2011 IX35 in 2015 and it has been the best car I've ever owned. It's a turbo diesel and I've only had to do minor repairs like tune-ups, changing tires, and replacing batteries. Within a year of owning it, the sound system failed, and even though the original owner had multiple units replaced under warranty, my neighbor who used to work at a Hyundai dealership said that these cars have poor sound systems that can't be fixed permanently. Companies offering repairs make you send the unit in for a fix, but it usually doesn't last. We've resorted to using a JBL speaker on the passenger seat for music. While it's disappointing that Hyundai doesn't stand by this issue, I hope our next car won't have these problems. Even though it's been the best car I've ever driven, I won't be buying another Hyundai again.

I'm disappointed with Hyundai - the audio system has no sound, and the reverse camera works only occasionally. This issue arose just after my car's new car warranty expired by 2 weeks. I completely agree. Hyundai offered to replace it for $1000 with just a 3-month warranty. I won't be purchasing a Hyundai again.

Our i30 had the same issue and now our i35 does too! Hyundai should replace them at no cost. It's clear that there's a problem with these cars as they keep shutting off repeatedly.

The i35 is a complete disaster, and my radio is also messed up after being 7 years old!

I truly can't stand my ix35, the radio is completely busted.

Lowering the volume does not have any effect. The radio is low-quality and unpleasant.

I purchased a premium IX35 2.0L CDRI 42D in '62 to use on a Scottish western isle with salt air and strong gales. I swapped my BMW SE tourer for it and, although it has had some rust issues compared to the BMW, it's been reliable. Despite anticipating trouble, I've actually faced fewer problems than with the BMW. The 4WD and differential lock all function properly. Every car, even inexpensive French ones, can have issues. I believe that those who complain about their cars likely have personal issues they need to address rather than blaming the vehicle. The car is 11 years old, with the same clutch, and averages 32 mpg on start-stop single-track roads with soft verges, necessitating the 4WD and selectable diff lock. It does show signs of rust, but the BMW was like a Vauxhall from the '70s in terms of corrosion.

My 2015 ix35icd is functioning properly, but the screen is showing a prompt to insert a USB with the GUI upgrade file CNC_AUTO_G156 img. Can anyone offer assistance with this issue?

The Ix35 Hyundai was my initial Hyundai purchase and will definitely be my final one. It was a letdown overall.

My 2015 car radio, which is 1 inch by 35 inches in size, turns on and lights up, but there is no sound. Previously, the radio would cut out when using the phone, but I could make it work by turning it off and then back on. Now, even though the lights are on, there is no output.
