To reset the "check engine" light on a Dodge Dart, you can try disconnecting the battery cables for at least 10 minutes to allow the electronic control module (ECM) and other modules to recalibrate. If that doesn't work, you may need to use an OBDII scanner or fix any mechanical issues causing the warning. Once you've erased the error codes, the light should go off. Find the OBDII port near the driver's left side, plug in the scanner, run a diagnostic test, read the error codes, and choose "erase" when prompted to remove the warning on your Dart.
