The computer in your 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid monitors how far you've driven since the last oil change so it can alert you when it's time for another one. It displays the remaining oil life percentage, which hits 0% when it's time to change the oil. After changing the oil, you must reset the counter to indicate that the maintenance has been completed. To do this, start the ignition without starting the engine, press the home button, and navigate to the Maintenance menu using the scroll wheel. Once you see the current oil life percentage, press the scroll wheel to enter the reset menu, then select the reset item A option. Finally, turn off and restart your car to ensure that the reset was successful.
To clear the oil change reminder on a 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid, you need to turn the ignition key to the on position without starting the car. Then hit the home button and navigate using the left selector wheel until you see the wrench icon. Press the left selector wheel to access the maintenance menu, and press it again to enter reset mode. Use the left selector wheel to choose what you want to reset, then press the wheel to confirm the reset.
