To reset the oil change light on a 2018 Mazda CX5, start by ensuring that you are parked safely and have turned off the ignition. Locate a knob or stick on the instrument panel, press and hold it, then turn the vehicle to the on position. Hold the stick for about 5 seconds until the warning light blinks, then release it to clear the oil change message on the display. If it doesn't work initially, repeat the steps until successful. Remember that the oil change light typically comes on every 7,500 miles or 12 months as a reminder to change the oil because it degrades over time. Unsurprisingly, oil doesn't last forever.

To clear the change oil reminder on a 2018 Mazda CX-5, start by turning the ignition key to the on position without starting the engine. Then, go to the center dash screen and choose "application" to access the menus. From there, navigate to "vehicle status monitor," then "maintenance," and then "scheduled." Once in the "scheduled" menu, tap on "reset" and confirm by selecting "yes." Return to the "maintenance" menu, locate "oil change," and choose "reset." Confirm this action by selecting "yes.

To make it simpler, here's a revised version:
On the screen cluster in the upper right corner, there is a button that we use to change the trip settings. If the screen reset doesn't work, you can perform a hard reset using this button. Press and hold the button while turning the ignition on without starting the vehicle. You can do this by pressing the push button start without pressing the brake. After a few seconds, you'll see the maintenance light in the cluster blink and then disappear. Release the trip button, and your issue should be fixed.
