To reset the oil light on a 2018 Toyota Camry, you need to press the button on the dashboard. However, if the oil still needs changing, the light will not turn off. Before changing the oil, ensure that the car has been parked and turned off for a few hours to allow the oil to cool down. Locate the oil pan and drain plug in the engine compartment, position a bucket underneath, and remove the plug to let the oil drain into the pan. Wait for the dripping to stop, which might take about an hour. Once the oil has finished draining, replace the drain plug, and then find the intake port on top of the oil pan. Use a funnel to fill the oil pan to the full level, making sure not to overfill. It's better to have a little less than too much, as overfilling can cause leaks and oil burning. After filling the oil, close the port and clean up any spilled oil. Your oil change is now complete.
