To reset the oil life on a 2013 Ford Edge, start by turning the key to the ON position without starting the engine. Then, press the trip/reset button until you see OIL LIFE = X% HOLD RESET message appear. Press the trip/reset button again, but this time hold it down until the display shows OIL LIFE SET TO 100%. Release the button, turn the ignition to OFF, and start the engine to confirm that the reset was successful. If your vehicle has steering wheel controls, follow the same steps with the key turned to ON. For vehicles with an ignition button, press it twice without pressing the brake pedal like you would when starting the engine. Use the arrow controls on the left side of the steering wheel to navigate to SETTINGS, then find the VEHICLE menu and select it. Look for and choose OIL LIFE RESET, then hold down the OK button until the oil life is adjusted to 100%.
