As the proud owner of an Acura TL, if you've ever needed to reset the SRS light on your dashboard, you can do so quite easily within 4 to 9 minutes. Begin by heading to the driver's side of your car and stepping in. Turn the ignition switch to the on position, being careful not to start the engine. Keep an eye on the SRS light, which will come on for about 5 to 10 seconds and then turn off. Unplug the two wires connected to the light, then plug them back in. Finally, start your car again, and the SRS light should now be successfully reset.

To clear the SRS light on the Acura TL, simply turn the key to the on position and wait for the air bag light to illuminate. After it turns off after about 7 seconds, switch the car off. Repeat this process two more times to reset the SRS light.

Based on my understanding, that strategy doesn't always succeed. If your vehicle got into a minor accident and the airbag went off, you would have to reset your SRS module. To do this, you'd have to take out the central console and locate the module under the radio, near the floorboard next to the heater. Once you've taken out the SRS module, you can reset it on your own or send it to a service that can reset it for you for a nominal fee of about $25. I hope this information is useful.
