To start resetting the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in a BMW Z4, first find the tire placard usually located inside the door frame to check the recommended tire pressure. Park the car and inflate all tires to the optimal level. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine, then use the iDrive controller to navigate to Vehicle Info or Settings. From there, select Vehicle Status or Vehicle/Tires and choose Perform Reset, Reset TPM, or TPM based on your car's model year. After starting the engine, choose Reset followed by Yes. Use the center console's media control, drive the vehicle at speeds over 25 mph for at least 10 minutes to allow the system to receive data from all four sensors.
