To reset the tire pressure light on a 2007 VW Jetta, first make sure all tires are inflated to the recommended pressure indicated on the tire placard. With the engine off, turn the ignition to the ON/RUN position. Locate the SET button inside the glove box and press it for at least two seconds. After an audible chime, the TPMS light will turn off. Sometimes, the low tire pressure light may illuminate even if the tires are properly inflated. In this case, manually checking each tire's pressure can help identify and resolve the issue. Once the tire pressure is confirmed, you can reset the TPMS system to clear the low tire pressure warning from the dashboard.
