To recalibrate the tire pressure sensor on the 2008 Toyota Tacoma, first find a safe parking spot and adjust the tire pressures to the recommended levels: 29 psi for the front and 32 psi for the rear for P215/70R15 and P265/70R16 tires, 29 psi for both front and rear for P245/75R16 and P265/65R17 tires, and 35 psi for both front and rear for P255/45R18 tires. Once the tires are set, start the engine and locate the TPMS reset button, which can be found to the left of the steering column. This button features the TPMS icon and the word "set". Press and hold the reset button until the TPMS warning light on the dashboard blinks three times. Wait for about 5 minutes, then turn off the vehicle and restart it.
