If there's a tire sensor issue in your 2006 Ford Explorer, resetting it is straightforward. First, navigate to the tire pressure monitor on the driver information panel. Next, press and hold the reset button on the steering wheel until the light goes off. After this, drive for at least ten minutes to allow the sensor to adjust to the new pressures. If the fault message persists, there may be a genuine problem with the sensor. In such a case, you'll have to uninstall the sensor, detach the tire from the wheel, and then reinstall the tire with the new sensor.

Press and hold the reset button on the steering wheel. Release it when the low pressure light blinks three times. After that, start the car and allow it to run for a bit.
