The Honda Ridgeline, like many other new vehicles, comes equipped with daytime running lights that are typically unable to be deactivated. While driving, these lights cannot be turned off, but you do have the ability to switch them off when parked. To do so, simply turn off the car, engage the parking brake, then turn the car back on to have the lights off. The reason for not allowing the lights to be turned off while driving is due to them serving as a safety feature that enhances visibility of the front of your vehicle for other drivers during the daytime.
You have the choice to complete this task using the computer's console dashboard. It can be done right there.
I desire the drive-in movies with the wooden lights to be turned off. I have tried pulling out the fuses but the only way to switch them off is by covering them with shop rags.
