To disable the rear wiper on the new Chevy Traverse, move the wiper control lever towards you until it reaches the off position. A single rotation forward will activate the rear wiper in intermittent mode, while two rotations will turn it on continuously. If the lever is pushed forward, washer fluid will be sprayed on the rear window. Additionally, the rear wiper will automatically engage when the front wipers are in use and the car is in reverse, even if it's turned off. This functionality can be disabled by navigating to the vehicle personalization menu on the infotainment display and selecting the desired settings.
To activate or deactivate the machine, access the vehicle information list on the driver information center. Refer to your owner's manual for instructions on driving and operation. Press the top of the button to switch the rear wiper on or off. To spray washer fluid on the rear window, press the bottom of the lever.
