The 2019 Chevrolet Traverse is equipped with an engine auto-start and stop function. When the vehicle comes to a full stop, the engine may shut off and the tachometer needle will indicate "Auto Stop." Once you release the brake, the engine will immediately restart automatically. If you prefer not to use this feature, you can deactivate it by turning on the car and selecting manual mode (L). Then, shift the gear shift to the highest position by pressing the + button. The current gear position can be viewed on the dashboard next to the mileage display. With this adjustment, you can drive without the auto-start and stop feature. However, you'll need to repeat this process every time you drive, as there's no permanent way to disable it.

I gave it a shot, but I still can't see any progress. Just shift to a lower gear and use the plus button on the shifter until you reach the 9th gear.

Even if you deactivate the L / 9 feature, you need to do it again every time you start up. It seems like I might have overlooked a step. The auto stop function cannot be disabled permanently.

I tried doing that, but it's continuing to exhibit the same behavior.
