Resetting the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on a 2017 Ford Explorer is an uncomplicated procedure. Firstly, you'll require a TPMS relearn tool. To initiate, park the vehicle and switch the ignition OFF. Depress the brake pedal fully, then release it. Next, switch the key to the ON position without starting the engine and then back to OFF. Repeat this sequence three times, concluding in the ON position. Press the brake pedal to the floor once more, and release it. Turn the ignition OFF. Redo the previous steps, switching the ignition ON and then OFF thrice. Finish at the ON position once more. If done correctly, you'll hear two horn beeps. At this point, TRAIN LEFT FRONT TIRE will display. Proceed to the left front tire, and use the relearn tool to reset the TPMS sensor. Move on to the right front tire and proceed in a clockwise direction with the other tires. Finally, switch the ignition OFF once you've completed the process.

To recalibrate the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on a 2017 Ford Explorer, ensure the tire pressure is accurate, start the vehicle, and press the reset button located on the right side of the steering wheel. Wait for ten minutes, and in certain situations, you may be required to hold the button until the light flashes. If the sensor is malfunctioning, it may be due to incorrect tire pressure, resulting in poor vehicle performance.
