Swapping out the oil pan on a 2010 Ford Fusion can be quite challenging. You'll require pry tools, sockets, and gasket scraping tools. To start, drain all the oil by removing the drain plug. Next, loosen the bolts around the edge of the pan. After removing all bolts, use a pry tool to detach the pan from the engine's bottom. Clean off the engine's bottom with a scraping tool or razor blade until it's metal bare. Proceed by installing a new oil pan with a new gasket and securely tightening it before refilling with oil.
