To reset the radio in a Nissan Pathfinder, first find the extended storage fuse in the passenger compartment fuse box. This fuse box is located behind the glovebox door on the right-hand side. Remove the cover and locate a white plastic fuse on the right-hand side. Pull on the fuse until you feel it click, but do not remove it completely. Turn the ignition key to the on position without starting the engine, and leave it for about 10 minutes. After that, turn off the ignition and push the extended storage fuse back in. Your radio should now be working properly.

I own a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder, and my audio system is not functioning properly. The display only shows "Nissan Sincethat's all," but the backup camera is working. Can you help me fix this issue?

I replace the fuse with a plastic one instead of removing it completely. You advise me to leave it like that for around 10 minutes with the ignition on, but someone else insists on keeping it in shipping mode and suggests pushing the storage fuse before the 10 minutes are up.

I brought my Nissan to the dealership, and they diagnosed the issue as a faulty radio control module. They quoted me around $5000 to replace the part. This experience has definitely turned me off from ever owning a Nissan again.

In American vehicles, the fuse box is located on the driver's side. It came in handy when my infotainment system wouldn't turn on. I had installed an aftermarket module recently, and it had been functioning well. However, today it suddenly caused the radio to stop working. This advice spared me the trouble of dismantling the infotainment console to examine the module. Much appreciated for the helpful tip!
