Turn the ignition switch to the on position. Position the tpms device against the sidewall of the left front tire, specifically placing it 180 degrees away from the edge of the tire valve. If you are working with 2007-2009 models that have banded sensors, the tpms machine should be located directly below the valve stem on the sidewall. For 2010-2015 models with valve stem mounted tpms sensors, the tool should be situated 180 degrees from the valve stem. When the tire pressure sensor gives a positive response, the tpms device will signal with a flashing green light and a beep sound.
