To reset the tire pressure sensor on the Ford Edge, refer to this video link: https://www.Youtube.com/watch?v=qmySWCnOJzc It's important to keep an eye on this component as it may require replacement in the future. It's recommended to replace your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles to avoid accidents on the road. Ensuring your tires are in optimal condition is crucial for safety and avoiding crashes. Be prepared for potential issues with this part down the road, such as checking for punctures from sharp objects and monitoring for looseness. Look out for signs of premature tire wear like feathering or cupping, and conduct monthly tire pressure checks to stay proactive.

Turn the ignition switch to the on position. Position the tpms device against the sidewall of the left front tire, specifically placing it 180 degrees away from the edge of the tire valve. If you are working with 2007-2009 models that have banded sensors, the tpms machine should be located directly below the valve stem on the sidewall. For 2010-2015 models with valve stem mounted tpms sensors, the tool should be situated 180 degrees from the valve stem. When the tire pressure sensor gives a positive response, the tpms device will signal with a flashing green light and a beep sound.
