The Jeep Wrangler does not come with a direct option to reset the TPMS. To turn off the diagnostic warning light, begin by parking the vehicle on a level surface and checking the tire pressure. The recommended range is between 35-37 PSI, depending on the model. Refer to the owner's manual for the specific PSI recommendation. Inflate the tires to 3 PSI above the recommended pressure, then release the air to slightly below that level before reinflating back to the standard pressure. Drive the vehicle for at least 20 minutes to warm up the tires and allow the TPMS to register the correct pressures, which should turn off the light. If this method doesn't work, it may be necessary to replace a TPMS sensor, which typically costs between $150 and $200 for a Jeep Wrangler.

To recalibrate the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on a 2016 Jeep Wrangler, start by ensuring the tire pressure is accurate and then start the car. Next, press the reset button located to the right of the steering wheel and wait for ten minutes. If necessary, continue holding down the button until the light flashes in certain instances.
