To update the 2017 Toyota Corolla's Etune software, you should park the car in a well-ventilated area, put it in park, and keep the engine running. Turn on the Audio system by pressing the top left knob on the stereo unit. Press the "apps" button on the right side of the display screen. Locate the USB port in the center console by lifting the armrest and insert the USB stick. Follow the on-screen prompts to select and install the latest software update. The update process typically takes about 5 minutes, during which the screen may briefly go blank for around 5 seconds, which is normal.

Does this mean there won't be any official upgrades to the Entune software from Toyota? So, the only way to upgrade would be through a third-party, which I would have to handle myself. This is frustrating! Let me clarify that I own a 2017 Corolla LE Eco with Entune. It's fine, but having GPS/Navigation would be a great addition so I don't have to depend on my phone all the time. Despite this setback, I truly adore my Toyota!

Will this solution address the issue where the radio system is draining the new battery overnight? I returned the car and they swapped the battery, but the problem persists.
