The Ford Fusion is designed with a unique exterior light control panel positioned to the left of the steering wheel, beneath the instrument gauges. Unlike other Ford models, this system is controlled by a dial on the dashboard rather than a control stalk on the wheel. By turning the dial all the way to the right, the auto feature is activated, causing the headlights to turn on only when it is dark and visibility is poor. For manual control of the headlights, adjust the knob to the second to last position. To engage the parking lights, simply turn the knob to the second position. To switch off all exterior lights, move the dial to the far left. A green flashing light on the driver's information panel will show which lights are currently active. For the fog lamps, push the recessed button located to the left of the knob.
To turn on the headlights of your Ford Fusion, simply push the headlight switch to the right, which can be found on the dashboard.
Take a seat in your Ford Fusion's driver's seat and find the headlight control knob located on the left side of the steering wheel. Rotate the headlight control knob two clicks to the right to switch on the headlights.
