Checking the transmission fluid in the 2010 Ford Fusion is a straightforward task, similar to other cars. To begin, lift the hood and secure it in place. Locate the transmission fluid dipstick near the top/center of the engine, identifiable by its yellow handle. Pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, and insert it back in. Withdraw it once more to inspect the fluid level indicated on the dipstick. If it's low, simply add more fluid. Remember to check the levels when the vehicle is cold.
Make sure to check the Automatic Transmission Fluid of the Ford Fusion while the engine is running and at operating temperature.
All right then
Making sure your transmission fluid is at the right level is crucial, but it's a simple task. Take out the dipstick located in the engine compartment and insert it into the transmission fluid reservoir to check the levels.
