If you ever need to manually adjust one of the power seats in your Ford Escape, it's a fairly straightforward process that should only take around 8 to 10 minutes. Use an impact wrench to loosen and remove two bolts located at the back of the seat. Then, slide the seat all the way back and take out another set of bolts from the front of the seat rails. Before proceeding any further, make sure to disconnect your vehicle's battery. Once you've done that, you can lift the seat up to remove it.
