If you own a Chevy Equinox and are having trouble unlocking your vehicle, it's usually a simple fix. If your key fob isn't working, you might just need to replace the 3-volt battery inside, which typically costs between $2 and $9. In case you need to resort to using your physical key, there's a small button on the side of your key fob that will release the key for you to easily pull out. With the key in hand, insert it into the driver's side keyhole, turn it to the right, and listen for the door to unlock.

My Chevy Equinox doesn't have a manual lock/unlock button inside the car. The only way to lock or unlock the doors is using the remote key fob.
