To initialize the radio in the 2013 Dodge Ram, the process varies from a few seconds to potentially a minute, depending on the specific system in your truck. If your vehicle is equipped with the UConnect system featuring an 8.4-inch display screen, start by activating the accessory mode. To do this, press the START/STOP button without engaging the brake pedal. Then, press and hold both the temperature up and temperature down buttons for a minimum of 8 seconds. A menu will pop up on the display screen showing "Reset Radio" at the bottom of the list. Choose this option to initiate the reboot process. In other Dodge Ram models, you can simply press and hold the mute and source buttons simultaneously for up to 10 seconds to reset the radio system.
