The noise in your Ford Transit comes from the backup alarm system. To silence it, you'll have to open the hood and access the fuse box to disconnect the F4 fuse. This will turn off the backup alarm that beeps loudly whenever you back up the Transit. Although the alarm serves the purpose of warning pedestrians about your movements, the noise can be bothersome, especially at night. Removing the fuse will provide a permanent solution to this issue.
Head to the fuse box located under the hood, and remove the f4 fuse to turn off the reverse alarm.
