To perform a coolant change on the Chevy Cruze, start by opening the hood and locating the radiator at the front of the engine compartment. Connected to the radiator is a plastic container, known as the coolant reservoir, which features a drain plug, fill plug, and dipstick. You can check the coolant level with the dipstick and add more if needed for topping up. For a complete flush, open the drain plug to allow the coolant to flow into a bucket. You can assist the flow by adding water to the container. Once the drained fluid runs clear, close the drain plug, fill the reservoir to the designated level indicated by the dipstick, and replace the cap securely.

To properly remove air from the cooling system of the Chevy Cruze, you'll need to release the bleeder valve situated at the rear of the radiator.
