To lift a Chevy Cruze, you will need a jack that can handle a weight range of 2,870 to 3,229 lbs, which includes both the car's weight and its contents. The lift points are located at each corner of the car and are described in the owner's manual. Make sure to always lift the Cruze from the opposite end that you are working on. Before lifting, secure or remove anything inside the car to prevent it from shifting, and park on a level surface. When lifting from the front or rear, position the equipment and lift pads on the rocker outer panel weld flanges. Avoid letting the jack touch the front grill, front fascia air dam, or fenders to prevent damage. The same precautions and steps should be followed when lifting the rear of the vehicle.

The Chevy Cruze has the ability to be raised using a custom lift kit. This kit will come with springs and coil springs that can be mounted onto either oil or gas shock absorbers.
