To restart the Uconnect system in a 2013 Dodge Journey, follow these steps: Turn the ignition key to the "acc" or "run" position without starting the car. Press and hold the phone and vehicle recognition buttons together for at least 30 seconds. Release the buttons and turn off the vehicle. Open the driver's side door for 30 seconds, then close it. Wait for the media screen in the Journey to reload with updated settings. Another option is to disconnect the battery cables for 15-20 minutes, then reconnect them and follow the prompts to reload Uconnect. As a last resort, simultaneously press the "volume" and "tune" buttons until the screen turns black, then wait for it to reload and restore the software settings.
