Assuming you already have a new bumper for your Chevrolet Traverse or you're removing the bumper for creative or ideological purposes, let's get started. First, lift your Chevy with a jack and remove the rear wheels for extra working space, which you'll probably need. Next, take off the wheel arches to access the side bumper brackets. Open the trunk and remove the side brackets inside, and then detach the lower bindings below the Traverse. Don't forget to disconnect the license plate light and reverse radar sensors. Remove the top brackets from the trunk. With nothing holding the bumper in place, gently pull it off if it's not already on the ground by now.
