To take out the second row bench seat in your Chevy Traverse, start by unfastening the seat from the truck's floor. First, unbuckle any seatbelts and move them out of the way to avoid damaging their sensors. Then, push the seatback forward and slide the bench itself forward to expose 3 bolts connected to the floor. Remove these bolts and push the seat backward to find a similar setup at the front of the bench. By unscrewing at least 6 bolts and lifting the seat out of the metal tracks still attached to the floor, you can detach the assembly. Remember to reinsert the bolts to prevent them from getting lost. With all rear seating removed, the cargo space in the Traverse can increase to up to 98.2 cubic feet.
