Changing a headlight in most models of the Chevrolet Traverse is a fairly straightforward task that should not require a lot of effort or time. The whole process typically takes about 5 to 10 minutes for most individuals. To start, turn the wheels in the direction of the headlight you need to replace. Next, remove the bolts securing the inner fender cover to access the headlight's dust cap, which is the most time-consuming step. Twist the cap a quarter turn to remove it, then rotate the base of the bulb a quarter turn. There are release tabs on the power connector; simply pinch these to detach the old bulb and replace it with a new one of the same size.

To replace a headlight bulb on a Chevy Traverse, start by turning the wheels in the opposite direction of the headlight that needs replacing. Next, remove the wheel well liner by unscrewing it and pulling it back. Rotate the dust cap a quarter turn, then twist the base of the bulb to unlock it. Squeeze together the two release tabs on the power connector to disconnect it from the bulb. Remove the old bulb and replace it with a new one, making sure to securely connect the power connector.
