The 2010 Ford F-150's MyKey can't be reset without an Admin key unless you utilize third-party software such as FORScan. This process involves connecting to your truck’s PCM using FORScan, starting the car, and running the program. You'll need to wrap the blade of a transponder key with foil during this step. After the software reprogramming is complete, turn off the vehicle and then back on without starting the engine. Navigate to the settings menu on the center display, choose "MyKey" options, and select "Clear MyKeys." From there, you can customize settings such as speed limits for a younger driver and other programmable limits like audio volume, traction control, and emergency assistance features.

I don't have any display settings on my 2010 F150 - all I have is an odometer trip button with no place to adjust anything.

I'm experiencing a similar issue with my 2012 F150. I tried following your instructions, but I can't seem to locate the MyKey option anywhere in the settings.

Insert the key into the ignition without starting the truck. Press and hold the reset button until the MyKey option appears. Select the option to toggle it on and off. I faced a similar issue, but after some time, I managed to resolve it. Best of luck to you!

To deactivate mykey on the Ford F-150, access the settings, select mykey, and choose the option to clear mykey. Hold down the ok button until a notification appears confirming that all mykeys have been cleared.

To reset my key settings, use two or more of my keys along with the square-shaped remote start system to reprogram it as the master key. Find the button beneath the steering wheel near the OBD jack, hold it down, press the brake, wait for three beeps, then start the vehicle. After starting, navigate the menu to delete all existing keys and reprogram them one by one as required.

To remove a restricted key from a 2010 Ford Flex with remote start and EcoBoost engine, but without the admin key, follow these steps: First, enter your 2010 Flex and close the door. Use the key fob to start the vehicle. While the Flex is running, access the settings at the top center of the dashboard. Navigate to the settings and reset menu, then select the option to remove the restricted key setting. Next, open the door of your Flex to turn off the engine. Close the door, insert your key, and it will now function as an admin key with all restricted key features disabled. This method took me less than 5 minutes and saved me hundreds of dollars.

I apologize for not mentioning in the previous section that after reprogramming the remote start, you should first use the remote start before accessing the MyKey menu.
