To reset the alarm on a 2009 Ford F-150, begin by inserting the key into the ignition and turning it to the on position. Next, switch the car back to off, remove the key, pause for five seconds, reinsert the key, turn it to the on position. Repeat this process by cycling the key on and off twice, then remove the key. After waiting for 10 seconds, place the key back in the ignition and turn it to the on position. Keep the key in the on position and wait for a few minutes. Eventually, the security light will start flashing. At this point, turn the key to off and take it out to complete the alarm reset on your vehicle.
