You can easily reset the anti-theft system in your 2001 Ford Explorer within 5 to 9 minutes. Start by ensuring all the doors of your SUV are securely closed and locked. Stand about 4 to 7 feet away with your key fob, press the panic button once. Move to the driver's side, enter the vehicle, insert your key into the ignition and turn it on and off three times within 10 seconds. Finally, start the engine to complete the reset of the anti-theft system.
