To reset the anti-theft system on your 2010 Lincoln MKZ, you'll need both your key fob and physical key. First, get inside the car and insert the key into the ignition. Turn it from off to run and back, repeating this 8 times. On the final time, leave it in the on position. While the key is still in the run position, press and hold the unlock button on your key fob for 20 seconds. After this, you should be all set to go.
