To deactivate the anti-theft system on a 2010 Mazda3, you can reset it by pressing and holding the "Panic" button on your key FOB for at least 5 seconds, then pressing the lock button twice while standing 10 feet away from the car, followed by pressing the unlock button twice. If the system still doesn't reset, you can try a more complex procedure: Start by inserting a programmed key with a transponder chip into the ignition and turning it to ON. After a second, remove the key. Within 5 seconds, insert a second programmed key into the ignition and turn it ON for 1 to 5 seconds before removing it. Finally, within 10 seconds, re-insert the first key. Note that this method may not work for all Mazda3 models, but it's worth a try for some.
