If the sliding doors on your Toyota Sienna are not functioning properly, you may need to reset and recalibrate them. Resetting the doors can typically resolve most issues, excluding physical obstructions like debris in the door track. To begin the reset process, activate the door control button on the dashboard until the red light illuminates, then shut the sliding doors. Next, disconnect the negative battery cable and keep it disconnected for at least five minutes. Reconnect the battery, use the key fob to open the sliding doors, physically close the door, and repeat the process for a total of three cycles of opening and closing. This will reset and realign the motor.
