To reset the oil life indicator in a 2018 Chevy Traverse as an American, you can use the navigation screen. Begin by inserting the key into the ignition and turning the vehicle on without starting the engine. Navigate to the settings menu on the navigation screen. Locate the vehicle settings and find the oil life option. Select the oil life and then choose to reset. You'll be prompted to confirm the reset by pressing the ok button. After that, simply turn off the vehicle and then turn it back on as usual. Your oil light should now be reset.

Locate the oil life percentage that is left. Use the right arrow button to navigate to the reset option. Confirm your choice when prompted to reset. Turn off the ignition, then start the engine again to make sure the indicator has been successfully reset. Finally, turn off the engine.
