To reset the climate control on a 2007 Ford Edge, first remove the fuse from the system and wait for approximately 30 minutes before reinserting it. Locate the fuse box to the left of the steering wheel by searching for a small seam or crack along the dashboard. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open the panel where the fuses are housed. Inside, you will find a variety of fuses and a diagram on the back of the panel indicating their functions. If the diagram is not on the panel, you can also refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Identify the fuse you need to remove based on the diagram and look for a thin strip of metal connecting the two elevated sections of the fuse. If this strip is intact, the fuse is still functioning, and you can put it back in place. If the strip is broken, the fuse is faulty and will need to be replaced. Replacement fuses are typically inexpensive, around $10.
