If the climate control system in your 2009 Ford Flex is not functioning, a quick reset might help resolve any software glitches. To reset it, turn your vehicle to the on position without starting the engine. Then, simultaneously press and hold the AC and Heat buttons, releasing the AC button and holding down the Heat button only. Continue holding until the system turns off and then back on, indicating it has been successfully reset. Following this reset, the controller should operate normally once again.
Could you please tell me which button controls your heater?
Are you asking if the heater button is the same as the power button? Thanks.
So just to clarify, when you mention the heat button, are you asking if that is the button for turning the heat on and off?
Turn off the power and air conditioning by releasing the A/C button while holding down the power button for approximately 10 seconds before releasing it. The vents should then start blowing out warmer air.
The response is confusing. The car doesn't have a specific heat button, but instead features power defrost, automatic air conditioning, and circulation buttons. Which one are you referring to as the heat function?
To recalibrate the climate control in your 2009 Ford Flex, start your car and turn the key to the "on" position. Then, push both the AC and heater buttons simultaneously. Let go, and then press the heat button only until the system is reset.
