To reset the climate control system in a 2015 Ford Explorer, first, locate the fuse box inside the passenger compartment. It can be found below and to the left of the steering wheel, above the brake pedal. Find and remove the 10-amp fuse for the climate control module in slot 46. Wait for about a minute before inserting the fuse back in and turning the car to the accessory position. You should hear the vents cycling, and within a few seconds, the system will be fully reset. If the issue persists and your AC or heater still does not work, it could be due to a problem with the blend door actuator or a failed blower fan. In the worst-case scenario, a malfunctioning heater core may be the culprit, which could result in a costly replacement of up to $950.
