To begin, open the driver's side door and sit inside the vehicle. Turn the key in the ignition to the on position, making sure not to start the engine accidentally. After turning the ignition on, you have a five-second window to briskly pump the gas pedal three times in a row. As a result, the oil light on the dashboard will flash and then turn off. If the light is not reset after following these steps, you may repeat the entire process.
