If your GMC Acadia is experiencing issues with its climate control system, there are a few potential culprits. A faulty blend actuator motor may prevent you from adjusting both the air temperature and airflow intensity. A malfunctioning fan motor could result in poor air circulation or noisy operation when turned on. If nothing seems to be working, it's possible that a fuse has blown. In that case, locate the fuse box either under the hood or to the left of the steering wheel. Fuses are easily replaceable, so check this first. Additionally, a malfunctioning temperature sensor located near the fan motor could cause erratic behavior from the actuator, leading to random temperature readings.

To reset the GMC Acadia's ventilation system, turn off the car, take out the fuse for the HVAC/ECAS for 10 seconds, put it back in, start the car without pressing any buttons, and wait 40 seconds for the control module to recalibrate itself.
